Who are we?
We are a small team, headed up by Lorraine Marshall, based in Welwyn, Hertfordshire,
We do all sorts of accountancy stuff from the boring to the not-so-boring but all aimed at helping you understand what your business needs to keep on the right side of HMRC, saving you time and money in the process.
Our combined experience in finance means that we are well placed to cover all aspects of financial support.
What do we do ?
- Accounts (core stuff)
- Tax returns (love ’em)
- Payroll (of course!)
- VAT (can’t get enough)
- CIS (who doesn’t)
- Bookkeeping (oh, go on then)
- Alpaca walking (unfortunately not yet)
As well as the standard compliance work we would look to add value with meetings at least once a year and quarterly management account reviews for our larger clients. This is to focus in on your business and ensure that everything is running smoothly.
When do we do it ?
As often as your business needs, we are available on the phone every day of the working week (but not before we’ve had our coffee !) and will respond to your e-mails the same day.
We can hold regular scheduled calls or zoom meetings to keep up to date with what’s happening in your business.
Why do we do it ?
We enjoy helping business owners to achieve their ambitions. Every business needs to be compliant which we know isn’t very exciting so we get that stuff out of the way to leave time to focus on growing your business.
Each of our clients is valued irrespective of their turnover and number of employees – size isn’t important, it’s customer service that matters.

How we do it ?
You don’t need to worry about that, but all of our software solutions are now cloud based which is a given in these digital times. We try to avoid dealing with paperwork so everything is kept digitally to ensure MTD (Making Tax Digital) compliance.
However, if you still use quill and ink then we can help you make the leap into the cloud and you won’t look back. (or down) once you’ve experienced the gain in efficiency that technology can bring to your business.
